Head of Tokyo Office Seiji KOBASHI
Since 1980 to 2005, Seiji Kobashi had engaged in city planning and urban redevelopment projects in the development planning division of Takenaka Corporation. He lead numerous large development projects and was responsible for land-use planning, facility planning, business income and expenditure plan, project management, and coordination of concerned parties.
Mr. Kobashi offered total consultation from initial basic market research to construction in the redevelopment project of the east gate of JR Oimachi Station. He also provided planning and operation plan of mixed-use-building for Omotesando Aoyama Palacio. For 801 Tower, an office building in Los Angeles, the U.S., Mr. Kobashi was in charge of all process of the development from acquisition of development permission to completion of construction.
Mr. Kobashi is a first-class architect in Japan, a real-estate transaction specialist, a financial planner, and a redevelopment planner. He earned master’s degree in construction engineering from Waseda University. (major : urban planning)
Operating Officer Fumio Ishihama
Since 1978 to 2004, Fumio Ishihama had been involved in developing business plan, business program, estimates of business income and expenditure, and etc. for large-scale real estate projects as a member of the business development division in development department of Takenaka Corporation.
Mr. Ishihama also had led the team engaged in attraction of international retailers for commercial properties in Ginza and Omotesando, and had been responsible for creating commercial concepts, tenant mix, and negotiations.
In the U.S., Mr. Ishihama served as the local supervisor of large-scale development projects, including: Grand Hyatt Kauai (hotel/605 rooms), Poipu Bay Golf Course in Hawaii, and The Westin Mission Hills Resort Villas, Palm Springs in California.
After that, as a commercial officer in British Consulate General (Osaka), Mr. Ishihama was in charge of assisting market entry of developers and architect from UK. He was also responsible for bridging investment into UK in pharmaceutical industry as a senior officer for investment into UK for British Embassy in Tokyo.
Mr. Ishihama is a real estate consultant, a real-estate transaction specialist, the first -class construction managing engineers, the first-class landscape construction and managing engineer.
Mr. Ishihama earned his master degree in urban and landscape planning engineering from University of Osaka Prefecture. He also graduated from the special course of landscape architecture in the collage of environmental design of University of California, Berkeley.
