Masahiro Hioki

Masahiro Hioki, CEO & President of L.I.S.incorporation, had successfully lead real estate development projects in Japan and the U.S., including Hotel Nikko San Francisco, Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa, and t’s Harajuku, as the general manager of business development division in Takenaka Corporation, one of the largest construction companies in Japan. He had also assisted domestic property owners to attract international hotels and retailers into Japan, as well as international companies to invest in Japan.
The development projects Mr. Hioki has lead won a number of awards nationally and internationally, one of which is ICSC Design and Development Award, an American prize for world developers. Other awards include JCD, SDA, Architectural Design Awards, and others.
In 2004, Mr. Hioki joined a U.S. based corporate revitalization fund. He has been responsible for revitalization of companies and held numerous leadership positions, including: the executive vice president of a real estate company, Showa Jisho (until 2009), and the president of an operator of luxury Japanese hotels, Ishi-no-WA, which owns Sekitei, oninosumika, and others (until 2010).
Currently, Mr. Hioki is serving as senior advisor of major hotel/resort and transportation companies, as well as supreme advisor of a large staffing agency. His signature strengths are in real estate development business, company/business revitalization, project finance, corporate strategy formulation, and reconstruction of organization. He also has experiences of lecturer for business seminars and an adjunct instructor for the faculty of commerce of University of Marketing and Distribution Sciences for a few years.

Mr. Hioki earned his master’s degree from the University of California. (urban/traffic engineering, urban economics, management)
